PMDS – A Deepened Understanding
For some women, PMS can become more intense. This is PMDS, characterized by stronger emotional reactions. Despite the intensity of this condition, it is important to emphasize that PMDS is also a natural phenomenon found in the cycle experience of many women.
Every cycle – A personal story
Every woman experiences her cycle differently. Some feel changes like fatigue, irritability, or concentration problems, others find this time particularly energizing. These differences express the individual beauty and strength of each woman and remind us to respect and care for ourselves and our needs.
The science behind the experience
Research has made great progress in decoding the phenomenon of PMS, yet there is still much to discover. The female cycle is a complex interplay of hormones, with progesterone playing a key role. Current research focuses on the endocannabinoid system and its possible influence on PMS. Interesting studies, such as those by Schmiedhofer et al. (2022), highlight the potential of natural substances like CBD to accompany and support women on their cycle journey.

Your personal PMS experience
Every woman has her own PMS story. While some hardly notice any changes, around 30% of women experience more intense symptoms.
